AstroLion Ashok Bhatnagar

Shri Ashok Kumar Bhatnagar, popularly known as AstroLion Ashok Bhatnagar, was born on 6th January 1952 in Khair, District Aligarh, U.P. A meritorious student, he completed his B.Sc. from Agra University in 1970, his M.A. in Sociology in 1975, and his LLB in 1986 from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. He had a natural proclivity for Palmistry and Astrology from the very beginning.

He followed the Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) of Astrology religiously, assimilating the true values of the Krishnamurti System while making predictions and preparing horoscopes. He focused relentlessly on the accuracy of predictions and adopted the Horary System (Prashna Kundali as per KP) for effective prophecy.

His success was remarkable. He earned many medals and numerous honorary titles — Jyotishacharya, Jyotish Martand, Jyotish Ratna, Jyotish Shiromani, among others — across astrological conferences nationwide. In 2001, the Honorary Degree of Jyotish Mahamahopadhyaya (equivalent to a Ph.D.) was bestowed on him at Barkatullah Vishvavidyalaya, Bhopal. In 2007, the Honorary Degree of “Doctor in Law” was conferred on him at an Astrological Conference in Gwalior. He was invited as Special Guest at the 23rd International Astrological Conference at Kolkata University in 2013, and was appointed Chairman of the 24th International Astrological Conference at the same venue in 2014. He was also a registered Advocate in the High Court of M.P.

A man of strong conviction and steely resolve, he always wanted to serve society. In 2017, he established the Aradhana Astro Research Society (Regd.) in Gwalior, which continues to work tirelessly for the benefit of the people. In an epoch-making event, he organised the 1st International Vedic & Modern Astrological Seminar in February 2020 in Gwalior, attended by renowned astrologers from across the globe.

AstroLion Ashok Bhatnagar contributed immensely to the field of Astrology. With his accurate astrological calculations, he guided countless people through depression and difficult times, strengthening their belief in astrology through his unmistakable foretelling. He firmly believed that every single incident is connected to the transit of planets, stars, and constellations, and that astrology, grounded in scientific principles, is a guiding force to lead people in the right direction.

He left for his heavenly abode on 25th August 2020, leaving behind a rich legacy — his values of astrology and the call to use our intellect in the right perspective. The Aradhana Astro Research Society proudly carries his vision forward.
